Surgery at Film Expo South

I had a great time at "Film Expo South" last week. "Surgery" went down a storm and it was fun to be able to introduce the film and give the audience a chance to prepare for what was about to come. Other highlights of the day included seeing Graham Humpherys talk about poster design in which he used our poster for "Surgery" as an example for the impact an illustrated poster can have for your film as opposed to going the photoshop route.

I also had the pleasure of attending a talk about Sales & Distribution which was most enlightening and will definitely serve us well when it comes to getting our feature film "The Still" up and running. The panel discussion involved Steve Rogers (Premiere Pictures), Mark Vennis (Moviehouse Entertainment) & Michael Ryan (GFM Films). Michael interestingly enough I discovered had worked with my dad back in the day on "The Avengers" and it was a pleasure to be able to talk to him after his talk and learn more about his experience with my dad.
