« New Feature Film "Where The Skin Lies" | Main | NEW FEATURE FILM "BY ANY MEANS" »

I've had an extremely busy but very rewarding month. First off i've been editing 12 short films with the student directors at Drama Centre London which is to help prepare them for their final projects. The exercise involves taking scenes from movies and television scenes which they then direct their own interpretation of and the end product which I edit is a nice showcase 5 minute scene. One of such films can be viewed below:

SHAME - Directed by Haytham Fathy

If this wasn't keeping me busy enough I also took on editing three more short films at the same time for the "Screen Your Story" competition. This is a wonderful event where they get children from all different age groups to write a script and the 5 which are voted to be the best get turned into professional films. I was very lucky to be a part of this and got to work with the three very brillian directors "John Irvin", "Ben Cavey" & "Denis Moriarty".

The event is judged by Jack Whitehall, Alistair McGowan, Ade Adepitan, Jill Green, Patricia Hodge, Michael Morpurgo, Mark Ellis, Chris Riddell, Sir Tim Rice, Sarah Sands, Ben Cavey & Jane Horrocks. The Gala was a wonderful success and I was very pleased to find out all three of my films had been voted 1st, 2nd & 3rd out of the 5 films.
