Feature Film Work

It certainly has been an exciting year for me and films firstly I am very pleased to announce that the two feature films I worked on "Demon" & "Concealed" are now finished and doing the rounds at film festivals. Both are being very well recieved and look like they are going to be great successes.

I have also had the pleasure of working on some behind the scenes material for the recent cinematic release of "All Things To All Men" which is a new British Thriller and will be coming to DVD and Blu-Ray very soon so keep an eye out for it when it's released.

Finally the most exciting news for me is the premiere of "The Still" trailer which is a new horror film me and my brother will be shooting next year. The trailer screened to a great response that should go a long way in helping us source the funding and I must say a big thankyou to "Snakegully Productions" for putting on a wonderful event.

Keep an eye on this page as i'll be posting the link to the trailer here later this week.

And if you haven't seen it yet please go to mine and my brothers website which has all the info on the film projects we are currently working on.

Thats it for now please keep checking back for more exciting updates!

Well it certainly has been a busy year so far so here's a rundown of what's been going on lately. This year so far has seen me doing a lot of very varied editing work which has been excellent fun as each week seems to be filled with new challenges.

I have been working regularly for a few clients including filming & editing Barmitzvah's and Weddings alongside a very talented individual "Nikos Tsogkas" , Editing together interviews and market research videos for "Verve" , Editing together news packages for "Bloomberg", and Editing and Grading short films for "The Drama Centre London".

Aside from my regular work I have also been working on a few adhoc jobs creating new exciting showreels for "Pierre Masoclo", "Maria Ramos", "Simon Haycock" and "Begona Lucena"

Another big update here as i've been very busy over the last few months so here's the low down on what i've been up to over the last couple of months.

Firstly I have had the exciting opportunity to work on two new feature films as an editor the first is called "Demon" and is being directed by Mark Duffield (Ghost of Mae Nak) and the second is a new Australian thriller called "Concealed" which is being directed by Shane T. Hall. I shall be looking forward to updating everyone on their progress as they move along in the final stages of post-production.

I have also been regularly working for FilmFlex as a regular freelance editor which has been very exciting giving me the opportunity to edit trailers Featurettes and Promos for films such as "Colombiana", "Contagion", "The Three Musketeers", "Friends With Benefits", "Abduction", "Dolphin Tale" to name a few. This has been great fun and i've been very happy to be working on what I love most which is films.

On the movie front I also have the exciting news that I will be heading out to Cannes Film Festival this year with two of my own films "The Lighter" & "The Still". Both of which will be co-directed by me and my brother Samuel Clemens. All information and updates regarding this can be found on our website

I have also finished editing together several short films for "The Drama Centre London" recently one was called "The Road Not Taken" and the other "Bank Holiday". Both of which I consider to have been great successes and I look forward to seeing how they fair in the film festival circuit.

Away from film now and I have just finished another stint at Bloomberg editing together news packages and I have also just finished a new showreel for Chris Reynolds who works with SFX you can view his showreel here.

Finally I have also started work on a promo for a new up and coming play called The Supper Party which is being put together by Alison Evans. I have filmed what I need and am just starting the editing process I aim to finish this by the end of the week so check back soon to see the results up here.

Well it certainly has been a busy month for me. Firstly I would like to say that the screening of my short film "The Lighter" was a great success and has led to some massive interest with regards to getting the feature film of the same name funded and made. Click on the link below for more details about the film and photos of the event:

The short film which is made as a promotional device giving you a taster of the full feature which is now starting to hit the film festival circuit so do keep an eye open in case it comes to your area, and if it does please try and see it I am always interested in any feedback regarding my film.

In between the film screening and meetings I have also had the pleasure of working for the wedding company Shoot It Yourself. They are a very unique company in that they send the cameras to the bride and groom so that they can film the weddings themselves and Shoot It Yourself handles all the editing. It was a lot of fun working on a wedding and a nice change from my usual regime. I am happy to say they were very happy with my edit and have now added me to their roster of freelance editors, so I shall be looking forward to working with them again in the near future.

I have also just finished a reedit of Peter Halpins showreel which he is very pleased with and has been very well recieved by casting directors. You can check out the showreel by following the link below:

Finally I would just like to say happy 80th to my father Brian Clemens it was a fantastic weekend and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
