I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend of Royal Wedding celebrations. I have been pretty busy this past month so here is a quick update of what I have been up to. I have been back at Bloomberg recently helping to edit together a wide variety of news packages, I have also been editing together a few more showreels which are now available to view here.

The first showreel I worked on was for Maria Ramos to help promote herself as a news anchor and journalist which was a new challenge to me having not worked on a showreel of this nature before, but thankfully my work at Bloomberg certainly help me create a dynamic an interesting showreel that i'm sure will aid Maria in finding more work.

The second showreel I worked on was also a new challenge as it was a music composer showreel for the very talented Edward White to promote both himself and his music company Alpha Dog Music.

I am very pleased with the end result of Edward's showreel which you can see for yourself on the showreel examples section of my website.

Currently I am now working on two projects the first is a short film called "Battersea" directed by Paul Kowalski which is about an artist in mourning for her fiance transferring her love into an obsession with Battersea Power Station. So far it has all gone very well and I am hoping to have the edit finished by the end of this week and then the grade done by the end of the following week.

The second project I am working on is a showreel for the very talented Hemisphere DJs which comprises of Elliott Anthony Bolton and Stewart Cook.

I have just finished filming two of their sets one at the Ministry of Sound and the one at the Gigulam Bar which I am now in the process of piecing together into a showreel for Hemisphere DJs to show off their talents. Once I am finished I shall be uploading the showreel onto here so check back in about a week to see the finished product.

It's been a little while since i've had an update on here as i've been very busy so heres a little taster of what i've been up to. I finished Ricardo Lima's short film "Fix Me" which had a very successful response at the premiere screening at the Curzon Soho so hopefully this success will continue. Besides this I was asked by IMC Media to help them out with some filming at the the Beauty and fashion expo at the Excel centre which went well and I was also asked to stay on for an extra bit of filming documenting the Beauty awards ceremony which was a fun event.

I also had another week editing at Bloomberg Television working on a variety of news packages which i'm pleased to say were very well received. Also to take a break from my normal regime I was also asked by Sony to come in and help test a new game due for release on the PS3 called "Infamous 2" so all in all it's been a successful time with lots of fun and varied projects for me to work on.

I have now finished the first rough cut of the feature film Demon which Mark Duffield will be reviewing over the next couple of weeks so that we can start refining the edit and get it to a finished stage ready to have the sound design, ADR & CGI added. On top of this I have also finished the edit of a short film called "Fix Me" directed by Ricardo Lima which I am now just waiting on the finished sound design so I can export it ready for a screening.

You may also want to check out Samuel Clemens new showreel that I have just finished editing and is now available to view on the actors showreels section of my website.

The last week has been pretty exciting and varied for me I have now started working on Ricardo Lima's short film "Fix Me" at "The Drama Centre London" which is starting to come together nicely and by the end I think it will be a very good short. I have also continued working on Mark Duffield's feature film "Demon" which is starting to take shape now and we are not too far away from a first rough cut, then it's just a case of refining the film and making sure it is the best that it can possibly be.

However the highlight of last week has to be filming Andrew Lloyd Webber to promote his musical "Love Never Dies" in Australia. I was asked by Sonique Ltd to go to his offices set up, film and edit his piece to camera and then upload it to an FTP site for the Australian Broadcaster's to download. Everything went smoothly and I was very happy to have the opportunity to meet Andrew Llyod Webber who was a very nice man and all in all it was a throughly enjoyable day for me.
